Ceramic header cleaner.

Wipe the tubes down with an environmentally safe orange cleaner degreaser or mild soap warm water and a soft cloth dry thoroughly. If the exhaust header is rusted you can then apply a liberal amount of cleaner with a cloth and scrub in the same manner. When storing your car for an extended period of time some precautions must be taken. Once all foreign matter has been removed the thermal barrier coating may be polished with a clean soft cloth and a non abrasive metal aluminum.

Once through dry the exhaust header thoroughly with an unused cloth or rag. With 0000 steel wool or extremely fine scotch brite is all that is needed to remove and then polish as you would when cleaning your headers. I had a set of dynomax ceramic headers that had about 30 of the coating fall off each tube but before the coating fell off it did like yours are doing now with little spots of rust popping up. Time to give jet hot a call and tell them you need your headers re coated they allegedly have a 20 year warranty on the coating.
